Urgent! PHP Developer - Laravel/CodeIgniter - Local Job Opening in Ahmedabad
<p>Job Description : <br/><br/>- We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
<br/><br/>- Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
<br/><br/>- You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.<br/><br/>- Plan, design, develop, debug, implement and support REST APIs & web-based GUIs for applications and services<br/><br/>- Modify existing software to : correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or improve performance<br/><br/>- Adheres to and recommends improvements to project coding standards<br/><br/>- Work in a team environment with shared code, disciplined use of source code control and process documentation<br/><br/>- Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis, and recommending changes in policies and procedures<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into functional web applications.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain server-side logic using PHP and related frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).<br/><br/>- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that follows coding standards and best practices.<br/><br/>- Design and implement databases, write optimized SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.<br/><br/>- Create RESTful APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end components.<br/><br/>- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.<br/><br/>- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and debug issues in PHP code and web applications, and provide timely solutions.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with the QA team to test and validate application functionalities.<br/><br/>- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to PHP development.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the development team.<br/><br/>- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and development methodologies.<br/><br/>- Take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality software solutions within deadlines.<br/><br/>Skills And Qualifications :<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter etc.<br/><br/>- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP<br/><br/>- Understanding of MVC design patterns<br/><br/>- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3<br/><br/>- Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming<br/><br/>- Understanding accessibility and security compliance<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions<br/><br/>- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application<br/><br/>- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments<br/><br/>- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system<br/><br/>- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds<br/><br/>- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes<br/><br/>- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages<br/><br/>- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
